DESIGN CONCEPT:
When Cultural Heritage Park was renovated into an open space in the city, the relationship between the old facade and the square was ignored. The wall rich in historical texture becomes a pure background, which is ignored by people. We try to make the old facade visible again and let everyone understand the historical context of the park.

After the installation design and material preparation are completed, we began to guide the members of the workshop to carry out the construction. From the design concept description, tool use method to construction process and work distribution, we led 12 students to complete the work "Hello! From the Old Facade"
Adding a volume to the wall to increase the thickness of the old façade and escape the original state of space. T h r o u g h t h e p h y s i c a l experience o f climbing , curling, and rolling, the a c tivi ty can take pla ce on the wall. The frame of the old window becomes the new theater on the square, that rediscover the spatial relationship between the former square and the old facade.
